Healthy Cocoa & Orange Cookies - Vegan & Gluten Free
We experimented with some of our favorite ingredients to make these - quantities are not exact but the important thing is to use oats as a base, add your favorite flavors (i.e. peanut butter, lemon, maple syrup, coconut….), and then use oil, honey/agave, and water to bind to make a crumbly dough.
Rolled oats 3 cups
Cocoa powder (100% cocoa) 2 tbsp
Dark chocolate (85% cocoa solids - dairy free) 50 g
Mixed seeds 50 g
Honey/agave syrup 3 tbsp
Zest and juice of 2 Oranges
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Water to bind
Press into the base of a muffin pan and bake at 160 deg. C for about 15 minutes. Bake longer for a more crunchy biscuit texture, less for a cakey texture.So indulgent and guilt free. Try it and let us know how yours turn out!
